Product description : Military aircraft model : Jaguar T.2 RAF

Italeri presents this 1/72 scale model of the SEPECAT Jaguar T.2 fighter trainer, used in particular by the Royal Air Force.

The Jaguar ground attack aircraft, born in the 1960s of a collaborative project between the French and British aeronautical industries, was used by the Royal Air Force until the end of the 2000s, demonstrating extraordinary longevity and operational efficiency. Thanks to its two turbojet engines, it was able to reach and exceed mach 1.6. It has been deployed and carried out numerous missions in highly complex operational zones, notably in the Balkans and Iraq. The T2 two-seater training version was developed for the operational conversion of British RAF pilots. As a secondary role, however, it was capable of ground attack and close support missions. Unlike the single-seat version, it was armed with a single 30 mm Aden cannon.
