Product description : Submarine model : Japanese submarine I-58

Tamiya is proud to present this 1/700 scale model of the Japanese submarine I-58, which was part of the Japanese Imperial Navy and served during World War 2.

I-58 was a B3 type cruiser japanese submarine. Launched in 1944, It attacked and sinked the heavy cruiser USS Indianapolis and was later scuttled in april 1946.

Features :
- Painstakingly reproduced parts such as bridge, radar, 25mm machine gun, 6 Kaiten torpedoes,
- Periscope can be modeled in either up or down position,
- Precisely replicates details of the edges and nonslip treatments on deck,
- Vessel number and such included as decals.
