Discover the 1:35 scale replica of the US M113A2 tank from Tamiya.

Among the various M113 type troop transport vehicles developed, the M113A2 started to be produced in June 1979. Based on the combat experience in Vietnam, this version was manufactured with an improved transmission, operating equipment and cooling system as well as a reinforced suspension. Removable fuel tanks were moved to the rear and outer sides of the vehicle, smoke diffusers were mounted at the front, and the trim tab was enlarged. 

M113A2 units were deployed in the 1991 Gulf War and the 2003 Iraq War. M113A2s active in Iraq were also equipped with Combat Identification Panels (CIPs), the latest friend-and-foe recognition device to prevent friendly attacks.
