Occre presents this 1/75 scale model of the Royal Navy bomb vessel HMS Erebus.

HMS Erebus was a ship on the Franklin Arctic Expedition, led by Sir John Franklin in 1845. Along with HMS Terror, the Erebus ventured into the Arctic ice and never returned, becoming Sir John Franklin's lost expedition. The Erebus was built in 1826 and measured 88 meters in length. It was one of the most technologically advanced ships of its time, equipped with steam engines and designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the Arctic. Despite its innovations, however, the expedition suffered serious setbacks, and none of the 129 crew members aboard the Erebus and Terror survived. HMS Erebus became a symbol of Arctic exploration and human tenacity in the face of adversity.
