Product description : Wooden Model Ship: Maria HF31

Maria HF31 is a fishing boat whose original is located in Finkenwerder, northern Germany.

Maria HF31 operated in the North Sea area for over 70 years, from 1880 to 1950. During this time the ship underwent several transformations, including motorisation in the inter-war period, and several serious accidents - two fatalities, collisions and damage. Today, the ship is restored and accessible to the public at the Deutsches Museum in Munich.

The model box contains all laser-cut wooden parts, wooden, metal and plastic fittings (depending on the model), fabric for the sails, plans and building instructions.
