Product description : Model making: Decorative accessories: Lake
Transparent film and colored paper. The water body film with bottom color paper is ideally suited for the design of water bodies and simple plant construction. A 20 mm thick polystyrene plate serves as a support for the body of water, while being gradually corroded with solvent (nitro dilution), which makes this support more cracked. The latter is then colored with lithographic paint (blue and green). The body of water film is laid on the surface of the water, the edge or shore is approximately 5 mm larger than the body of water and the film is cut accordingly. The colored water background is designed even more realistically with moss, lichen (references Faller-170729 and Faller-70730), vegetation, etc. For the decoration of the shore we use the same material as for the general design of the landscape.
Dimensions: 53 x 26 cm. Suitable for HO (1/87), TT (1/120), N (1/160) and Z (1/220) scales.
