This famous fighter plane that is the Corsair shone in many conflicts during the Second World War. Developed during this last war, it was successively improved by different versions. The first version F4U-7 took off in July 1952 and was exclusively intended for France for which it fought in Indochina and Algeria. In addition, the Corsair F4U-7 turned out to be a driving force behind the operation "Musketeer" launched in 1956 during the Suez crisis and whose decoration is offered to you here.
