In 1987, a young German pilot, using the Cessna 172, took off from Helsinki and landed in Red Square, Moscow, without being intercepted by the Soviet Air Force. The Cessna 172 Skyhawk single-engine passenger plane represents a milestone in the history of civil and commercial aviation. Developed during the 1950s, the Skyhawk is still in production today, in its various evolutions. Characteristics:
