Product description : Helicopter model: MH-53E Sea Dragon
This large anti-mine helicopter is in service with various special units of the US NAVY and the JSDAF. Entered into service in the 1960s, the "Sea Dragon" is a 3-engine version of the twin-engine CH 53. It was widely used by the navies and also by the US Air Force for special rescue missions (Italian kit. 035). Thanks to the exceptional power of its engines, this helicopter has the capacity to carry heavy anti-mine systems which are mounted on special hydrofails that are dropped at sea to detect mines.
