Product description : Wooden model - Mackerel maker from St-Malo Le Rigel

Heritage Series - Maquereautier de St-Malo Built in 1945 by the Craipeau shipyard, the Rigel is an authentic mackerel maker. The Rigel benefited for its construction from subsidies allocated for war damage. After being used for fishing, it serves as a school boat and a pleasure boat. It was bought and restored by enthusiasts of maritime heritage. - All-wood construction, edged on couples cut with a water jet (precision 1/10 mm) with rods of section and different tree species adapted to the model of the boat. - Complete fittings (200 pieces): foundry metal and tinted wood, linen thread, screen-printed cotton sails. - Very detailed plans to scale with many assembly sketches at different stages of development. - Historical presentation notice.
