Product description : Model heavy tank JS-2 1944
The Russian heavy tank JS-2 was designed to counter the German Tiger I. Its production started in December 1943. It was equipped with a powerful 122mm gun and was heavily armored. From August 1944, the hatch on the front glacis was removed, which improved frontal protection. The JS-2 proved its effectiveness both in defensive missions against the Tigers and offensively during the breakthroughs of the Red Army. Model to assemble scale 1/48.
Length: 20.6 cm. Finely restored texture of the cast metal. Injected plastic tracks with separate pads and sections. Commander minifigure included. Two types of markings. Recommended paints: - 85028 (TS28 Olive Drab 2 mat) - 81702 (XF2 Matte white) - 81701 (XF1 Matte black) - 81510 (X10 Glossy steel gray)
