Product description : Military Ship Model: HMS Dreadnought British Breastplate 1918

Name of the model: HMS Dreadnought British Breastplate 1918 The sixth HMS Dreadnought, of the Royal Navy, was the prototype of the so-called monocaliber battleship. It had such an influence that its name, the Dreadnought, became synonymous with this type of ship which was the modern battleship. It was the first large ship powered by steam turbines. Its appearance rendered all existing buildings obsolete, and as World War I approached, it sparked a naval arms race. He returned to the Home Fleet from March to August 1918 but after the war, in rather poor condition after his numerous patrols in the North Sea, he was placed in reserve at Rosyth. It remained there until deregistration on March 31, 1920. Sold to Ward & Company in 1922, it was demolished in Inverness in 1923. Plastic model to assemble and paint.
Scale: 1/350.
