Livré à la Navy le 21 août 2009, le USS New York (LPD-21) est le cinquième transport amphibie de classe San Antonio à porter le nom de l'État de New York. Long de 208 mètres et fort d'un équipage de 360 hommes, il est capable d'embarquer jusqu'à 700 Marines en temps de conflit. Nombre de pièces : plus de 760. Longueur de la maquette assemblée : 59.5 cm environ. Ce coffret inclut de nombreux véhicules (avions, hélicoptères, véhicules d'assaut), également à l'échelle 1/350, à disposer sur le pont du navire une fois assemblé et peint.
